You should try to run the new installer (0.8) and see if that works.

If you can't get this installer running, I'm afraid there's something the matter with your system that is out of my control.

When recording two programs on the same transponder,
instead of recording both programs, sometimes the same channel is recorded twice

I'm not sure if papago1 got it working on MacOS, but the error indicates that the ; in the shortcut should be replaced with :
For example:

I even sent him the solution as implemented in the FlemLion Topfield GUI.
