Try to run the command CHKDSK x: /F on your computer it helps me to get the topf se the HDD again.

Sorry then I cant help my JVC has only 1 HDMI input and it works.

Hope you can understand in english.
The JVC is not automatic shifting to HDMI input. You have to select HDMI input on the TV to see
the HDMI signal.
