Is it necessary to choose REC or MPG in SE setup?
Coudn't SE check FirmwareTMS.dat and set accordingly.

For example, FirmwareTMS.dat reports a 7160 and SE sets recording mode to .MPG

Is it possible or too much trouble?
I am a non-programmer, so it all seems very easy too me
