Is it in any way possible to get a TF5400PVR to decode mpeg4 streams (DVB-T or DVB-S) - or do we just have to wait until Topfield issues a new combo model with DVB-S / DVB-T, mpeg4, HDMI and HD ???

Yes - it is possible to record a DVB-T stream while watching another DVB-T stream live, as long as they are both within the same mux (frequency).

In Denmark we are so lucky that we have all 3 national TV-channels on the same DVB-T mux...

I just want to confirm that the 5400PVR works very well with EPG on all Danish DVB-T channels - no problems at all! We also use DVB-T subtitles in Denmark and they have been very problematic on many different brands of receivers, but since the 1449 firmware update, there is no problem with subtitles...
