Disappointing, but I suppose I must do that.

Somebody said that copying the files takes a lot of time. Can anyone give me an estimate of how long? Over ten hours, or over 20 hours? My Toppy was probably 90% full already. I'd like to know what to expect.

@ FireBird I tried your instructions but my Toppy doesn't show this view: Network Setting - IP Setting - Web Server - FTP Server - User Info There is only IP Setting but no FTP Server, so I cannot choose Enable it. Thank you FireBird, for that advice. So DataFiles is where the recordings should be in order to look at them on the PVR. I have a LAN cable and there's a place for in the router. However, I use wireless for my laptop and it doesn't have a place for the LAN. I'll have to see if I can get my old lapto...

What kind of cable is needed between my computer and the Toppy? Could it be USB-C or something else?

Also, would my recordings be in the Program Files in this case?
