New features and bugfixes (since 0.4.1)

+ Feature: o fast forward works at speeds higher than 8x
o rewind now works at a constant speed (looks like 4x)
+ Change: enabled yellow button for subservice selection
+ Change: enabled resolution 576i in videomode plugin
+ Change: enabled frame rates 23.97, 24, 25, 29.97 and 30 Hz for
1080p in videomode plugin
+ Change: enabled the **** < and > for volume control if no menus are shown
IMPORTANT: In order to activate this feature do not use
"keepsettings" in the ini file. Otherwise the mapping will not
be installed. If you install with "keepsettings" and would like
to use volume **** then replace the file
/usr/local/share/enigma2/keymap.xml with the one from the
corresponding folder of rootfs.tar.gz.

+ Fix: improved HDMI handling to resolve issues with some LCDs
+ Fix: improved resolution selection (green button)
+ Fix: fixed the fast forward behavior for TS playback at speeds lower than 16x
+ Fix: fixed the fast forward and seek behavior for MKV playback


Unsupported features and known problems
---------------------------------------
- The only supported tuner type is DVB-S2 CX24116/CX24118.
- Temporary loss of sync if timeshift is unpaused within 6-7 seconds after
its activation.
Workaround: do not unpause timeshift in the first 8 seconds.
- Rewind works only at a constant speed.
- With "AC3 downmix on" there is no sound on optical when AC3 stream is
selected. With "AC3 downmix off" the system migt freeze when zapping to
channels with AC3.
- There are problems with switching between different satelleites via Diseqc.
It takes several seconds to tune to a channel on another satellite.
- Simultaneous output to HDMI and Scart (RGB) is not supported.
- Sporadic hangers when zapping during an active HDTV recording
- Sporadic problems with old frames in a live stream (flashbacks)
- Some USB sticks are not recognized so that the Enigma2 installation
does not work. Reformatting the stick with FAT32 might help.

This is an alpha image. That is some functions may not be available or be
buggy (causing crashes/freezes or loss of data).

The installation of the Enigma2 image formats (ext2) the internal harddisk
unless installation on a USB HDD is selected.
ALL FILES ON THE HARDDRIVE WILL BE LOST. When reverting the installation
on the internal HDD to the original Topfield firmware all Enigma2 files
will be lost too.

Einspielen hat schon mal sehr gut geklappt. Ich habe irgendwie die Eindruck, dass das Bild besser geworden ist. Kann das jemand bestätigen?
Probleme konnte ich erstmal keine feststellen. Abspielen eine vorher gemachten Aufnahme ging und der Empfang war auch problemfrei. Wenn die Timer alle laufen, dann bin ich erstmal zufrieden. :

Hi,habe heute das Update installiert und bin mal wieder begeistert SD-Bild ist deutlich besser geworden.Jetzt kann man sogar auf DSF Fußball ruckelfrei geniessen. Es lohnt sich echt bei Enigma auf Updates zu warten:Nicht so wie bei einer bestimmten Firma deren Namen ich hier nicht nenne.

Hallo erstmal,

Ich habe meinen Toppi seit letzten Freitag (ist mein erster digitaler Receiver überhaupt)
und habe mich am WE gleich mal mit E2 beschäftigt.

Hatte vorher zum testen mal eine DBox2 (Neutrino) und fand das Teil schon recht gut.

Das Bild des TF's war natürlich besser aber fehlte da etwas.

Nun ja, die Installation verlief dank Micha's Link zu Wiki absolut problemlos.
E2 in der vers. 0.4.5 sieht schon recht vielversprechend aus, kommt aber "noch"
nicht ganz an das Neutrino Image ran. Ist ja auch noch beta alles.

Ich habe so einige Dinge in den Settings gefunden wo der TF dann plötzlich nen reboot macht.
So ist mir auch diesen Fehler mit der Lautstärke aufgefallen.
Nach jedem Neustart war die Lautstärke trotz vorherigem herrunterregeln auf 100%.

Ich kann nun nicht 100% sagen ob ich das letzte update drauf hatte
es war auf jeden Fall 0.4.5 das ich irgendwo runtergeladen habe.
Kann das jemand bestätigen?

Das mit dem Vor- und Zurückspulen klappte bei mir ganz ok.
1x hat sich der TF ganz aufgehangen und an anderes mal nach vor -und zurück
hatte das Bild nur noch gestockt aber sonst ganz brauchbar.

Zu guter letzt meinen Respekt an die TDT Manschaft.

Klasse Arbeit macht weiter so.

Hallo, meine (per amount.ini) gemounteten Verzeichnisse sind nach Update auf 0.4.5 nicht mehr auffindbar. Habe gehehen, dass der Automount-Ordner fehlt, worauf ich miene alte amount.ini in einen neune Ordner usr/automount kopiert habe. Funktioniert leider immer noch nicht. Geht automount von Windows-Verzeichnissen (über CIFS) nicht in 0.4.5.
Außerdem scheint der Multi-EPG nicht zu funktionieren.
Hatte vorher Summerdream 2 und dort klappte alles.
Bildverbesserung von 0.4.5 gegenüber Summerdream2 konnte ich auch nicht feststellen...
