Hallo,

was bedeutet bei der manuellen Sendersuche das Feld Pilot?

Leider finde ich in der Topfield-Anleitung keine Beschreibung über diese Funktion.

Bei mir scheinen HD-Sender auch ohne "Pilot an" zu Funktionieren. Allerdings bekomme ich dann keine Anzeige der Signal-Stärke von HD-Sendern im Topfield-Sat-Editor.

Bitte um Erklärung der Funktion "Pilot"...

ich denke das wird dir keiner erklären können...das ist aber nicht topfield spezifisches, sondern hat mit hd sendern zu tun.

buko hat letztens irgendwo hier geschrieben das der "pilot" eine funktion ist die noch nicht ergründet wurde, bzw. nicht ganz klar ist wa diese funktion macht.

Naja, wenn irgendein Programmierer die Funktion "Pilot" einpflegt, dann muß doch die Funktion bekannt sein. Es muss ja auch entsprechend in die Firmware programmiert weden.

Ich denke mal nicht, daß es sich hierbei um den 22kHz-Ton handelt, welche für die HI/LO-Band Umschaltung verantwortlich ist?

Frame synchronization is needed to indicate the start of each FEC block for the decoder. It also provides the necessary information for the receiver to apply the appropriate demodulator and decoder to demodulate and decode the transmitted information. Given that some overhead is necessary for frame synchronization, it is also designed such that it can be used to reduce initial frequency and phase uncertainty of the modulated signal. The frame synchronization is designed to provide reliable operation in the worst case Signal to Noise ratio with minimum overhead. It is also used to minimize the demodulator implementation loss in the presence of consumer quality low-noise-block (LNB) phase noise. In fact, phase noise is particularly detrimental to demodulator performance for higher-order modulation such as 8PSK, 16APSK, and 32APSK. To preserve the near Shannon limit performance of the DVB-S2 FEC, pilot symbols may be added to assist the demodulator to minimize probability of cycle-slips and to provide more accurate phase estimates. Pilot ist ein Syncronisationshilfmittel.
Aufgrund der hohen Informationsdichte sind die relevanten Informationen wohl schwer von Störungen zu trennen. Es wird also ein Pilotsignal mitgesendet um Synchronisationspunkte zu markieren.
