Im Autostart kommt immer die Meildung Failed to Calibri....Fonts to installed danach öffnet sich EPG ohne Einträge, oben rechts kleines Fernsehbild und ich komm da nicht mehr raus!!

Irgendwie klappt das nicht, was mache ich falsch die Fonts werden nicht am TMS über USB angezeigt

Ärgere mich über mich selber weil ich ein funktionierenden TMS upgraden wollte und jetzt habe ich kein SEPG mehr Aber das krieg ich irgendwie mit eurer Hilfe noch hin
ZIP Datei direkt auf USB oder vorher entpacken? welches Programm 7-zip will irgendwie nicht unter W 8.1?? Danke

Das .zip muss vorher entpackt werden, nur Dateiendung .tap wird im Filer angezeigt.

Gerade kontrolliert, die Fonts sind im SmartEPG_Install.tap (V6.4) enthalten.

Kopiere das (entpackte) SmartEPG_Install.tap nach ProgramFiles und starte es von dort mit 'OK' Taste.
Es werden alle für SmartEPG nötigen Dateien installiert.

Die Fonts brauchst Du nicht mehr separat installieren.

Er will doch SE drauf haben - habe es früher auch immer mit Filezilla eingespielt und nun die Updates von Firebird per USB-Stick.

Von dort aus erst in Program Files und dann von dort aus verschieben in Autostart, das tap.

Darum die Frage...ich verschiebe umgekehrt

nachdem es nun anscheinend läuft bei metaloli, hier noch die Antwort.
Deine Vorgehensweise ist natürlich korrekt.

Habe das "jetzt geht nichts mehr" so gedeutet, dass sein Receiver nicht mehr korrekt hochläuft und empfohlen ohne TAPs zu starten.
Sollte er nun fehlerfrei starten, hätte es an den TAPs gelegen und er sollte Eins nach dem Anderen aus dem AutoStart nehmen, angefangen mit SmartEPG.

Hallo zusammen, wenn ich über FTP (FileZilla) neue Firmware in den TMS bringen will, in welches Verzeichnis muss ich uploaden (Z.B. AutoStart od. Incomming)?? Finde dazu im Forum leider nichts.... Danke im voraus

My friend updated SPR2100 wia USB with wrong firmvare, and now tuner infinitely shows "LOAD".
I desolder flash S29GL256P90TFCR2, but i can not find *****.BIN file for writing, all files from internet have extension *****.TFD. Help with BIN-file please.

Ich desolder Flash S29GL256P90TFCR2, aber ich nicht finden können, *****. BIN-Datei für das Schreiben, alle Dateien aus dem Internet haben Verlängerung *****. TFD. Hilfe bei der BIN-Datei bitte. Es tut mir leid für Englisch ...., ido kein Deutsch (und Englisch nicht die Mutter.)

how could he update with a wrong firmware? The Topfield doesn’t allow a firmware file that doesn’t have the same system ID as the Toppy itself.

I’m not sure if it was a good idea to unsolder the flash. There is an emergency procedure that allows you to flash a new firmware even if the Toppy doesn’t boot any more. That you still get the “LOADING” means that the loader seems to be working. I would suggest that you solder the flash back in again and try it with the following steps:

1. Format an old USB thumb drive with FAT32. Old means: no USB3, no terrabytes.
2. Rename the tfd file you would like to flash to “update.tfd” (all small letters)
3. Copy that file on the thumb drive
4. Plug the drive in the rear USB connector. Don't use any extender cables.
5. Turn the Toppy on and then immediately press and hold one of the other front panel keys

Normally you should see “Lxxxxx” (xxxx is the system id of the Toppy), followed by “CHECK”, followed by a download counter, followed by an “END”. If this happens, the firmware on the stick has been flashed, you can remove the stick and reboot.

If you don’t see the “CHECK”, something went wrong while holding the button. If you see “CHECK” but then “LOADING”, the loader didn’t find the firmware file. Try the USB port on the front, then any other USB stick.

I solved problem:
Just with HEX-redactor added in damaged dump sector of right dump ***.tfd ,
then programming FLASH-chip through BEEPROG,
then soldered chip into place - tuner said "LOAD........E-2",
then load firmware from USB-flash.
Now everything OK! TF work!

OK bin ich dafür verlassen weil sowieso mein Topfield in seinem derzeitigen Zustand nicht alles
