replacement for TMS ?

My TMS makes periodically many noise squares on one of the tuners. Doesn't matter if I swap the input cables. Read about this happening, so probably not much to do.

Also we just got a bigger TV screen, and the toppy menu's looks clumsy now....

I love my TMS and I am afraid I can't find a replacement. Do you have any ideas ?

I use the Jags EPG to record based on search words in the EPG, so this is a must have.
Also record on 2 tuners while watching any of them, and pause and timeshift is a must.
We watch NL tv, so ability to load the Canal Digitaal EPG and card module.
And now I wish for HD menu's.

Which options are there out there ?

Most of us who changed use VU+ now. See the forums about VU+ here. You can use smartEPGvu+ that is even much better as Jag's EPG.

Which model(s) do I want to have a look at ?
I would like most flexibility of recording and possibly even decoding while recording and available apps.

A problem irritating us more and more, is the shorter and shorter decrypt key duration, so these canal digitaal recordings are too old if not decrypted in few days... It may be the old toppy has problems, but sometimes it seems the nightly decrypt doesn't do it's job...

How about dreambox ? I would have thought people found most programmability with those and had moved there ?

I bought the top model "Ultimo 4K" to be open for the future. The Dreambox and the VU+ are widely compatible.
