Hello - (apologies for writing in English)

I now have an Android version of the iTMSRemote client available from Android Market here: https://market.android.com/search?q=itmsremote&c=apps

It is exactly the same as the one for iPad (see TMSRemote meets iPad thread).

I have a placed a small charge on it. Hopefully not too much

As usual, you will need Firebird's TMSRemote TAP running and configured on the PVR. You will need a home network to run the app. Remember to configure iTMSRemote with the port, address, and password that TMSRemote is set to. This version of iTMSRemote does not support a blank/empty password.

Looks nice.

Would it be possible to implement something like Profiles for more than one TMS?

I am useing 2 of them and it would be great to switch between them without changeing the Settings each time.

PS: thought about writing such an App yesterday with fully configurable Remotecontrol Layout and maybe Macro recording/playing of keysequences. And of course editing the searchthings of SmartEpg with the Android Keyboard.

But it seems that it now got unneccessary...

Yes - next version will have TFIR, and additional remote images. Next after that will have profiles. Direct mode after that.

unfortunately it does not work so good for me:

The screenshots with the P are from my Asus EeePad Transformer TF101.
The screenshots with the SC are from my Samsung Galaxy S2.

Regarding the EeePad (screen resolution 1280x800):
- the iTMSRemote icons are mostly visible (more in horizontal view than in vertical view)
- the area of the screen around the iTMSRemote icons is actually not black like in the picture, it is even flickering between white and black
- remote control is ok
- painting the OSD is not ok, the screen is completely mixed up
- flipping the app (horizontally to vertically and the other way around) leads to a closure of the app (crash?)
- just to remember, your earlier demo tap with the fixed resolution 1024x768 worked quite good on my EeePad, maybe you can compare the versions regarding some OSD showing details and so on

Regarding the Galaxy S2 (screen resolution 800x480):
- the iTMSRemote icons are not visible
- the area of the screen where the iTMSRemote icons should be has many graphics errors
- remote control is ok
- painting the OSD is ok, screen looks good, even during resizing or repositioning
- flipping the app (horizontally to vertically and the other way around) is ok, works fine
- the marmelade error that the port cannot be 0 is just for information, that was before I entered the connection details

I hope you can improve something of that.
What else can I supply you with? Is there some sort of logfile?
If you like you could send test apps to me so that I can test them.

Yes that's a strange one. Works fine on Motorola Xoom, Acer A200, HTC Desire, and Galaxy S. I'm looking into it

Maybe you can place at market a free Demo Version (with, for example, 4 days time restriction).

I always want to test App's before buying them.

Du kannst doch erstmal zahlen und testen. Wenn es Dir nicht gefällt, bekommst Du doch innerhalb einer bestimmten Zeit noch Dein Geld zurück. Falls das über den Market nicht klappt, kann es sicherlich auch John machen.

Yes, (as Walter says) the Market allows you to cancel the purchase within 15 minutes of download. So you can buy it, try it straight away and then cancel if you don't like it. I suggest setting up TMSRemote TAP first and getting it working from a PC (with a non blank/empty password). And then download, configure the cliient and test.

Ja selbstverfreilich läuft da TmsRemote! Vom PC komm ich ja drauf, aber das Teil schreibt in das schwarze Feld immer "disconnected

Du hast dann aber schon die Verbindung am PC erstmal getrennt bevor Du es am Android versucht hast, oder?

Frage: Was bedeuten die Symbole unten am Rand?

Play mal grau, mal blau
Einstellungen hab ich gefunden und die gleichen Daten, wie am PC eingetragen.
Was bedeuten aber z.B. die Doppelpfeile?

Play-Symbol ist der Connect-Button und der macht normalerweise einen Autoconnect sobald die Einstellungen drin sind.
Das zweite Symbol blendet die Fernbedienung aus oder ein.
Doppelpfeil ist praktisch "Hide OSD on Toppy", also dass der OSD auf transparent geschalten wird, wenn der Doppelpfeil grau ist.
Das vierte Symbol sind die Einstellungen, also IP oder Name des TMS (falls im Router oder Hosts-Datei gepflegt), Port (meist 1413), Passwort (darf nicht leer sein) und Art der Fernbedienung.
Das fünfte Symbol dient der Vergrößerung des OSD-Bildes. Es schaltet glaub ich vier Größen durch und wird danach wieder klein. Man kann das OSD-Bild aber auch mit einem Finger frei bewegen oder mit zwei Fingern vergrößern/verkleinern.
