Hi jkIT,

Beautyfull work.

On PC/laptop the layout is ok.
On tablet, layout is ok in horizontal view, in vertical view, the right column is in the bottom of the left column?
On smartphone, horizontal view is a bit to big, vertical view is out of line. See the screenprints.

Functionaly, on pc/laptop and tablet, it is working great.
on smartphone, I did not try.

Finally,
I rewrote the helpfile for channelsort.
It only needs a infoWindow.width = 620 instead of 580.
I edited the channelsort.js at my toppy.
I also edited the configpage.js to 620 instead of 450. (I checked working with index-dev.hrml).
Reading this help file is easier that way.

I attached also the new language-nl.txt file for channelsort.

Greetings, Roger.

Thanks a lot, Roger.

You are right, it is currently not optimised for small screens. The layout will need some fine tuning.

I guess, your screen shot was made by using Chrome Developer Tools.
If so, you should refresh the website, after you switched to mobile view, because otherwise it does not remove the desktop scrollbar (1). In this case, it prevents the correct display of the channel names.
(2) is a layout bug of the channelsort module.

Creating a different channellist, the Toppy reboots after the red cross comes on screen behind the CLS function.
SE wants to start but can't. Toppy is rebooting. :motz:

ChannelListSaver.log is telling me, al was ok!! :thinker:
Just some warnings about audio in tvchannels.

Oh, that's bad.
Can you please provide the WebControl.log too.

What happened after the reboot, were the channels sorted as desired?
Are you able to import Channels.txt in ChannelListSaver manually?
Is Channels.txt equal to Settings/ChannelListSaver/Channels.webc-after.txt ?

Hi jkIT,

I would like to add a webControl.log, but, sorry. There was no log created.
I did look for one, so I could have put it in the zipfile.

WebControl itselve kept waiting for the start SE action.

Code: Alles auswählen

What happened after the reboot, were the channels sorted as desired?
No. Still same as befor.

Code: Alles auswählen

Are you able to import Channels.txt in ChannelListSaver manually?
I will try later. I'm at work. :tv:

Code: Alles auswählen

Is Channels.txt equal to Settings/ChannelListSaver/Channels.webc-after.txt ?
I'll check that too', later today.

Greetings,
Roger.

Hi,

Yes, Channels.txt can be imported by CLS.
No, Channels.txt is not the same as channels.webc.after.txt.
Channels.txt is still the same.

I did it again, but now with webcontrol.log ON.

All this is happening on the 2410.
And it even happens with only SE and WebC running.

:thinker:

I inserted the CLS log into the WebControl.log at the given time stamps,
to get a better view of what is happening.

Hi Roger,

thanks for reproducing the problem.
Unfortunately, it is not visible, where exactly the PVR crashes.

Sorry, I falsely assumed, that Channels.txt was an export of the browser module.
So my correct question should have been:

If you rename Channels.webc-after.txt to Channels.txt, are you able to import Channels.txt in ChannelListSaver manually?

Hi, jkIT.

jkIT hat geschrieben:Hi Roger,

I investigated the logs too and I don't see any strange things!
So my correct question should have been:
If you rename Channels.webc-after.txt to Channels.txt, are you able to import Channels.txt in ChannelListSaver manually?
Yes, I did rename channels.txt tot channels.txt.bak (backup) and renamed Channels.webc-after.txt to Channels.txt.
I started CLS and imported it. This went well.
I called the SmartEPG channellist menu directly after this for channel synchronisation. OK too.
Channels are now the way as I want them to be.
Then I shecked my timerlist...

:w00t:

All timers Gone??
No, but all timers were blocked. So, I unblocked them myself.

Further try-out results:
channelsort, without SE running, results in a reboot.
channelsort, with just webControl running, results in a reboot.
testing all, in the same, on the 2401: results in a reboot.

I don't get it. It did work. :thinker:

jkIT (and all others), I'll keep trying to find out what the trigger might be,
by starting from scratch with the 2401, but not now.
:couchpotatoes: To much things on tv.

jkIT, thanks for trying to help on this strange reboot thing.
Until next time.

That's why the Channelsort module stops SE first and restarts SE after Import.

Thanks, so I don't need to ask for this tests

I tried to import your Channels.webc-before.txt (worked)
Then I tried to overwrite this settings by WebControl in your desired order.
That worked too, so I could not reproduce the problem.

Perhaps, it is a very special case, let's discuss that by email. I think, I will need to build a test version of the TAP with enhanced logging for you.

Ich denke, das e-mailen ist nicht mehr nötig.

Es geht mit v2.11b TAP.

Deleted webcontrol in total.
Installed again, configured it.
Installed the v2.11 TEST TAP.
deleted and installed channelsort module again.
Tried a channelswitch.

Result is that al is working as it shout.

Hi jkIT,

Could channelselect utility be adopted in channelsort?

Why this question?
Some channels are double. Which one to delete or keep or move?

The utility could bring the solution!

Just a question.
