Hi
I am running v7.1 of SE (English) on my Australian TF7170. I have noticed a few issues I have not been able to resolve through the Australian Topfield forum:
1. The EPG within SE sometimes shows programs starting at the wrong times on certain channels but not others. This means scheduled recordings do not record the correct program. For example, a program that started at 7pm shows in SE EPG as starting at 8pm. This seems to occur after watching a recorded file. If I run SEreset, it fixes the problem, but if I then watch a recorded program, the SE EPG is wrong again afterwards.
The time shown in the EPG screen is correct. Only one or two channels are affected and the others are okay. The native EPG is correct.
2. SE EPG is not always populated with program information. It scans daily just fine. If there are blank channels, I run SEreset and scan again which works. The native EPG is populated with program info but SE EPG is not in these instances. Can SE be programmed to check for blanks and fix the problem itself?
My apologies if this post is not in the right section/forum.
Thanks in advance
Phil

AW: SmartEPG issues
Welcome aboard
I do have the same problem but only with one channel. This problem occurs in the EPG table six and seven days in the future. Normally it is corrected automatically when the event passes day 5.
So I accuse my cable provider that he sends the wrong EPG information for that affected channel.
In your case it seems a lot worse. But Topfield may not be the problem - I don't know.
Probably it will help if you deactivate "LiveEPG" in your SmartEPG Options.
A log file from SmartEPG may enlighten your issue.
Greetings, VaniQ
