What is the best method for converting my old SRP2100-TMS .rec files to something which can be played on the Vu+ ?

Yes, I actually found that, but I hoped there was an in-box solution, so I didn't have to upload to my PC also - it actually doesn't have enough free space for this, unless I can convert from USB stick to USB stick, and that will be very slow.
But I have started that process - i.e. saved the movies to an USB stick, so I can now load them either on PC or Vu+.

it should be enough to rename the files from .rec to .(have to find)

Edit: and now I tried it - it really works to simply rename the .rec to .m2ts - then they play perfectly :-)
