Bei dem letzten Update habe ich immer noch ein paar Tonaussetzer, die ich als sehr störend empfinde (genauso schlimm , wie der Robosound !)
Alles andere funktioniert prima, bis auf das die Fernbedienung etwas lahm reagiert !
Ich hoffe, das nochmal ein weiteres Firmwareupdate erscheint, wo auf jeden Fall das Tonproblem gelöst wird !

Kann ich bestätigen. Habe mir heute eine der amüsanten Elektronik-Sendungen auf RTL Shop ops: aufgenommen und hatte beim Anschauen immer wieder störende Ton-Aussetzer. Offenbar gibt es da noch irgendwo ein Problem im Topfield.

Irgendwie kann ich das nicht nachvollziehen...
Habe jetzt zwei Stunden lang RTL Shop im Timeshift geschaut...
Kein Robosound, keine Aussetzer...

also das Problem mit dem "ROBOSOUND" kann ich auch bestätigen, ist nach dem neusten Update immer noch vorhanden.
Der Sound tritt immer für 1-2 sec nach dem Umschalten auf und ist danach wieder einwandfrei.

@BigPaule: Beim Umschalten war das schon immer so und wird wohl auch so bleiben, das liegt an der Hardware. Es ging hier ja wohl um RoboSound beim schauen.

Hallo !
Wenn ich über den normalen Homecast-Receiver höre, dann gibt es keinerlei Tonprobleme, Supersound !
Von meinem Topf 4000 sehr sehr oft Tonaussetzer, nicht zum aushalten !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Siehe auch bei BigPaule !
Ich habe schon gedacht, ich hätte was an den Ohren !
Anscheinend haben alle anderen Receiverhersteller keine Tonprobleme, oder ?

Wie hört ihr denn den Sound? Direkt vom Topf über den Fernseher, oder per Rundumkrachanalage?

Hi Gerti, danke für deinen aufopferungsvollen Einsatz. Vielleicht hatte der Sender auch eine vorübergehende Tonstörung. Oder es tritt nicht bei Timeshift auf. Ich werde es mal beobachten.

Ja, Schmuck ist furchtbar. Aber Elektronik ist echt lustig. Die haben sagenhafte Rechner, die "schon für das neue, schnelle Internet" (DSL) vorbereitet sind und "richtig viel Arbeitsspeicher" haben (512 MB). Und natürlich das "riesige XXL-Softwarepaket im Wert von 345 Euro" (Ashampoo), das bei ebay für 5 Euro über die Theke geht.

Hello, I possess a TF4000PVR, at present it is in the version APR 27 2006 V4.4.15 / JPC in 4.58.83 My air terminal is in version 206 (system).

My current version is not any more listed on the official site.
On the other hand two new versions appeared.

TF4000PVR TF4000PVR Firmware (206) 2006-10-11


and

TF4000PVR TF4000PVR Firmware (206) 2006-09-18

It is necessary to update at first my air terminal with the version 2006-09-18 then in 2006-10-11 or we can update directly with the last version.

Concretely, that correct these versions ( the most recent )?

If we compare with my current version, that will bring these last versions?

Each Firmware is complete in itself. You don't have an incremental update. So you can upgrade or downgrade directly to any firmware you want.

Some of the last changes are more compliance to sound with variable bitrate, which until then caused some small audio dropouts, and that when programming a delayed recording by EPG, that name will be taken for the recorded file.

I wouldn't use the version from 18.9. (V4.58.88) ... it has problems with encrypted channels and tele-text!
The version from 11.10. (V4.58.90) corrects this, but sometimes shows the red "this channel is encrypted" bar during timeshift operation although the channel is not encrypted at all...

I still would recommed the so-called 2nd BETA from 30.8. (V4.58.86) which you can find here!
It already had the more important features from the versions above concerning filenames and variable audio bitrate, but with definitely less bugs!

By the way: This is an official site, too. This is the site of the european branch of Topfield, while http://www.topfield.co.kr/ or http://www.i-topfield.com/ is the site of the korean main company. So both are official
That version was created by the korean developers. Since it was intended to do a bit more it was not yet fully released, and is not yet available by OTA. Sadly those changes are not yet done.

Good question...

Actually that BETA version was intended to solve the variable audio bit rate problem,... additionally they implemented also some other long requested features. That version was tested positive by quite a few users from this forum... but unfortunately they never released it officially!

Instead they implemented in the meantime some other (IMHO: useless) stuff which caused only bugs. Two of this versions unfortunately were made official on there side (but never were tested as beta-versions inside this forum before release... bad idea! )... I hope that they never put one of these versions onAir, because in that case this forum will be overflown with bug reports...
