Hello all here,
If you don't mind I write in English, this is more easy for me. I read and understand German OK so you can all answer in German.
My brother has a TF6000 for ASTRA reception in Holland. He has problems with EPG loading.
It seems like EPG data is only loaded when the EPG is manually used the first time. Then it looks like for all channels the EPG data is "postloaded" when you choose that channel.
Can anyone tell how EPG data is arranged here with ASTRA?
Furthermore he would like to use JAG's EPG for automatic loading and "scanning" of EPG data every morning. We tried to set this up the same way as I do on my 5200PVRc on cable but this does not do the job!?
Anyone know how to handle this?
Thanks,
Peter.

That's normal behaviour. The toppy can only load data of a channel, while it is tuned to the transponder of that channel.
That's why TAPs like Jag's EPG ot others scan all transponders for EPG data to make them easily available.
One exception could be the use of Media Highway EPG (there is an option for that in the menu). I heard that this transmits data for dutch pay tv channels.
This can load EPG data for several channels from one transponder. But it's not used here, so I can't tell you more about it.

Basically Jag works the same way on the 5200c and the 6000.
As Wolfman mentioned Jag's sometimes seems to unstable on the 6000.
But it's worth trying.
