USB turbo transfer for TF6000PVR WLAN

Hi there,

I have been trying to increase the USB transfer speed (TOPFIELD -> PC) with Altair XP by clicking the 'Turbo ON' button.

I hasn't made any difference - still very slow.

With my other Topfield (TF5800) it works after either hacking the firmware with a special patch or running a special TAP. Both these ways work by eliminating a redundant data verification algorythm which slows down the transfer but the transfer still remains error free (I have tested it myself many many times).

How can it be achieved with TF6000PVR WLAN?

Please help because this is tooooo slow.

In your case the Turbo On does not increase the transfer speed because your WLAN is much slower than the receiver and Altair. The WLAN is the bottle neck.

Hi,
I am not even trying to use WLAN in this case - by definition it is slower then USB.
I am trying to increase the speed of USB only - it is successful on TF5800.
I will try to instal the TF5800's USB accelarator TAP on TF6000....

Has anyone any experience with increasing USB speed on TF6000PVR WLAN out there?
