Hello everyone
I do not hope you mind that I'm writing in english.
I've just purchased a tf6060. It came through my dorr tonight and I've emidgetlly tryed installing channels from Astra and the hotbird satellite, but untill now I've not manneged to get all of the channels I want. I've read the manual, but this does not help either.
I do hope that someone who has the receiver at hand would like to give me detailed installation guidelines, as I'm surtanlly am dooing something wrong!
Well, at the moment I've got one sattelite dish, connected to the tf6060 with 1 cable through lnb1 in.
I've got a 4 way disecque switch, and via the cable I'm getting signals from thor 1vest, serius 5east, hotbird 13east and astra 19east.
At the moment though, I only want to install the channels from astra and hotbird, cince I plan to connect the tf60600 with another receiver, which at the moment is getting signal from thor and serius.
Well, I started by going into the main menue and to settings. I then set the timer, menue language and so forth.
Then I whent into lnb-settings to configure my lnbs and diseque.
I wanted to set the lnb-frequency to universal, however, this option does not seem to be present - the only thing I could do was to type in the local losalator settings via the keapat, but the universal option was nowhere to be found. Normally, on every other receiver I've tryed, the option "universal" is there to choose but not in tf6060 as far as I could see.
Well, I then chose the difault lnb-frequency, and whent on to desecque. Am I correct in thinking that since I have one dish whith 4 lnb's I should choose to enable deseque 1.0 and the parametres that coresponde to the satellite from where I want to search for channels?
Well, this was what I chose (have also tryed other settings), and then I started seaching for channels on astra.
however, I did not find any channels at all, but when I later searched hotbird, I found around 450 fta channels.
can anyone please tell me what I am dooing wrong and exactly what I need to do in order to search correctly for the satellite channels on astra?
Every help is much apprishiated!
I do hope to hear from another topfield 6060 owner.
BTw, sorry for my bad english.
Kind regards from allan

Universal is the same as 9750/10600I wanted to set the lnb-frequency to universal,
Yes, but you have to find out which DiSEqC-command switches to Astra. Is it 1of4, 2of4, 3of4 or 4of4?Am I correct in thinking that since I have one dish whith 4 lnb's I should choose to enable deseque 1.0 and the parametres that coresponde to the satellite from where I want to search for channels?
If you have the correct DiSEqC-command for Astra make a channel search on Astra with network search "ON".

Hello there
first of all, many thanks for your reply, it is very much apprishiated.
Well, I was actually not aware that "universal", was the same as 9750/10600, in every other receiver I've had, it just states "universal" - that is the reason to my confusion. Thanks for clearing this.
Well, this means that I should enable diseqc 1.0, and find out what disecq command that switches to Astra. Well, I've allredy tryed to do so, and I can tell you that it is 4 of 4 that switches to astra - and 3 of 4 which should get hotbird.
when I connect my old receiver to the dish, the signal is very good indeed, however, when I try searching on Astra using the lnb-settings and desecq parameters above, it strangely enough does not find any signal. Both indicaters is on 0 percent. Could it be that there is a setting, apart from network search, that i havvent turned on correctly? What about the lnb-power setting, would this make any diffrence?
Well, I'll try dooing a network search later and let you all know my results.
Kind regards from Allan

AW: TF6060 problem - can anyone help out?
Hi again
Well, just as I thaught all was great, another problem has acurred.
I wanted to connect the tf6060 to my Nokia 220 s (viasat), receiver, so that I can use that to watch viasat encrypted channels when the tf is in standbye.
As I've only got 1 cable to the dish, I connected the two receivers using a loop through cable.
I've connected the cable from the dish directly to the tf6060 - using the lnb1 in.
I then connected a loop through cable to the nokias LNB in, and connected the other end to the tf LNB1 out.
However, when I'm trying to watch something on the nokia, while the tf is in standbye, I am only getting the message - no or bad signal.
Can anyone tell me if i've connected the receivers correctly, and if I need to make any alterations in the menue to get the signal through to my nokia?
thanks in advance for all of your help.
Kind regards from allan

That's exactly the behaviour I know from my Topfield 5500.
I don't know what Topfield thinks how this can be used
This only worked on the very old model 4000.

There is no way to use LNB1-out when the Topfield is in stand-by.Can anyone tell me if i've connected the receivers correctly, and if I need to make any alterations in the menue to get the signal through to my nokia?
If the nokia has a LNB-out connect your sat cable to the Nokia and then from Nokia to Topfield.
If the Nokia has no LNB-out the only way is to use a spezial switch:

Hello again
thanks for the reply.
well, thats too bad - as i've understood it from the manual, you should be able to connect a second receiver via lnb1 out or lnb2-out.
Unfortunatlly my nokia does not have an lnb-out, so I'd iether have to buy the special switch, or run an extra cable to the tf6060.
A shame, as this was what I thaught I could avoied.
Kind regards from allan
