After a power cut a few days ago my system lost all position data and the channel sorting changed from "by satellite" to "alphabetic".
I reset all satelite positions (DISEQ1.2) and the ordering of the important channels but found that there were a lot of duplicate channels and unwanted channels on HOTBIRD. So I used the menu "Organize SRVC" to delete them. While highlighting many unwanted radio channels, the receiver froze so that no more channels could be highlighted. I pressed MENU but nothing happened. After waiting some time I shut the receiver down. When I switched it back on, it came up with the MENU still open but the TIMER and ORGANIZE options were blanked-out. Nothing would return it to TV viewing. I was able to play recorded material off the USB connected HDD but no TV or radio available.
I tried recovery and factory reset from the available menu options but this did not help. Recovery returned "fatal error".
I also loaded the latest firmware over the USB port. The firmware installed OK but this didn't fix the Frozen menu problem. ID is 23022.
I searched the internet and forum for similar bugs but found nothing. I suspect a memory overflow or other hardware problem.
Anybody have any ideas before I return it under guarantee?

I was not expecting this to be such a simple problem.
Now it's working again.
Thank you very much for your good advice.
