Nö, das geht per offizieller API, wenn es funktioniert.
Ich habe das Firmwarefile jedenfalls untersucht, und die deutsche Sprache ist offensichtlich drin.

Ich habe das TAP mal zusammengeschustert, aber nicht getestet.
Vielleicht traut sich jemand.

Im zip sind 2 TAPs: deutschesosd.tap sollte die Sprache bis zum Neustart umstellen.
deutschesosd-perm.tap versucht die Änderung sogar dauerhaft abzuspeichern.

Am besten erstmal in /ProgramFiles zum Ausprobieren.
Sollte die Version deutschesosd-perm.tap funktionieren, dann braucht man diese eh nur einmal aufrufen.

Dir Frage ist aber noch, funktioniert es dann nach einem Neustart noch ?
Also wenn Du es nach Programfiles verschoben hast und neu startest?

im autostart geht es, nur über das "Sprachen-Menu" kannst Du es nicht aufrufen/einstellen.

No. Verschiebe es wieder in den Autostart.

Edit: Habe es jetzt (das Permanent) wieder im Autostart und alles bestens.
Warum soll ich das andere nehmen? Es funktioniert auch mit diesem.

Dann sollte die nicht-perm variante reichen. Wieso sollte das TAP auch permanent diese Einstellung speichern, wenn es nicht geht? Probier mal die nicht perm-variante....

If I understood this correctly you have FW, which does not have german language available/visible.

Some Finnish users are using TF5200's FW on their TF5100C models. And there is no Finnish language selectable on language menu.

I made a VERY small TAP (incl. sources)
http://www.tapworld.net/content/view/331/47/
which changes languages into Finnish. After that languages are changed and they remain changed after reboot.

After running this TAP, Finnish language will be visible also on Topfield menus.


PS. Should I add this your TAP into TAPWorld?

Right.

I tried to show one way to do it and maybe that works also for you. Just change 3 numbers, compile and it might work with german language also.

If it works, feel free to make it as a universial TAP for all languages. E.g. so that it reads language number from ini file.

Weil die Permanentversion am Ende den Befehl zum Speichern im Flash aufruft.
Wenn dies nicht funktioniert, weill die Frimware beispielsweise die illegale Einstellung kontrolliert, dann läßt man ihn lieber weg, wie es in der normalen Version ist.

It is basically the same TAP for German. As i had in mind that a TAP can help, it might have even been a post of you that created the idea.

I tried to add the API Call to save the settings. But from the reports this doesn't work.

Maybe this is not needed. At least in Finland, language settings are saved automatically after TAP is run. At least this is how I have understood it works (I do not have cable version and I have not used my TAP by myself).

It is possible that settings are saved after user has opened language settings screens after TAP is run, but I doubt that.

You can do that. I have removed the non working permanent version, and added a readme to the zip.
