[Milo]

Hallo erstmal! Was muss ich beim Rec Copy Menü einstellen das er mir nur eine Aufnahme entschlüsselt und nicht alle. Habe z.B PW 1 eingestellt,weil ich dort was aufgenommen habe heute Morgen stellte ich fest das er mir mehrere Aufnahmen entschlüsselt hat. Und zwar von Sat1 Pro7 usw.

du hast vermutlich nur den Sender eingestellt auf den der Topf vor dem Entschlüsseln schalten soll.

Der Rest ist (nach dem du einen "C" hast und Pro7 etc. verschlüsselt sind) von reccopy korrekt erledigt worden.

Das geht nur manuell übers Menü, nicht automatisch. (Es sei denn, es ist nur diese eine Aufnahme im Aufnahmen-Verzeichnis.)

habe erstmals reccopy 4.1b8 ausprobiert und es klappt bis jetzt alles wunderbar.
mir ist nur in den einstellungen aufgefallen das dort bei eine aufnahme entschlüsseln das h fehlt.
bitte nicht schlagen wenn das schon ein anderer gemeldet hat.

ibbi, you might want to take a look at this thread, it seems RecCopy (the test version running on TF5700PVRt HDMI) doesn't play nice with MyStuff causing it to delete MEI cache files for files scanned or touched by RecCopy from time to time. My current theory is a sharing violation might occur causing this behaviour, but you'll know the Toppy's inner workings better than I do so comments are welcome.

It should be easy for the MS author to check two recordings (original and copy) and see whether they are identical to MS. If there are any results and I can help, I will.

The thing is, not all recordings that get their descriptions deleted have been copied, it's enough that the file has been opened for scan by RecCopy, this means that during the scan (which lasts a few seconds per file), MyStuff can't verify the file and deletes the corresponding MEI file. MyStuff does make the assumption that there can only be one copy of each file, but for the files that haven't been "locked" when scanned by MyStuff, it does retain and show the description for both original and copy. However if one of them is deleted from within MyStuff, it deletes the description along with it, losing the description for the remaining copy.
But as I said, it appears the main problem is that two TAPs can't see the same file at the same time, which is probably what happens here (it happens only on the scheduled decryption runs, when MyStuff and RecCopy both start their file accesses at roughly the same time (bootup), if I do the decryption run manually MyStuff's MEI cache doesn't seem to be affected as much (though it still may lose a description, it loses considerably more descriptions when doing the scheduled decryption runs).

If this is the case, then the solution is simple. No TAP may assume that it has exclusive access to a file. If a file has been locked by another TAP or whatever, the lock is correctly reported by the TAP-API (TAP_Hdd_Fopen returns a NULL pointer). In this case, MyStuff has to retry later or simply ignore that file this time. Removing the MEI file because of a locked file is bad behaviour.

Entging mir nicht. Ich wollte nur Platz auf der Platte schaffen und erst dann reccopy einsetzen.

Hallo BartW,

bin ein ganz neuer hier und hab seit 2 Tagen ein TF5000 PVR MP. Jetzt geht's aber schon los mit den vielen Fragen.
Lese jetzt schon den ganzen Tag im Forum und weiß nicht so richtig weiter. Vielleicht kannst Du ja helfen.
Habe also Altair auf dem Laptop installiert und möchte jetzt den Tab "RecCopy" auf den Topf in den
Autostartordner kopieren - nach 1 Minute erscheint dann die Meldung das der Tab nicht kopiert werden kann.
Was mache ich falsch oder was habe ich vergessen????
Vielleicht kannst Du mir oder jemand anderes helfen - ich weiß nicht mehr was ich machen soll.!!!
