The problem is that CanalDigital sends full EPG information (7 days) only from one transponder and rest transponders send only current and next program information, so EPG is fairly useless with its current functionality.

I wish that next FW (soon ) will contain atleast some improvement, so I could retire my good old TF4000 (with 2nd tuner burnt by lightning, HDD not always spinning up, etc. minor flaws), and take full advantage of HD quality!

Here is some information about CDs EPG:

Greetings and welcome to the board. I did not know that the 4000 can do this. As far as I understand, this problem has persisted all the time across all models. I have still hope that Topfield publish a TAP-API for the 7700. If they do, there will probably be several solutions around in no time. If they don't, they will have to start thinking about improved EPG functionality, as other manufacturers have already implemented this.

I think I wasn't very clear; I was talking about "Wake up time for EPG" in time settings, which I thougth was standard feature in Topfield PVRs, but as what I understand from your post, feature was not included int TF5000-series PVRs (if that is correct I'm now more happy that I did not "upgrade" to TF5000-series back then)

I have just had a look through the 4000 manual and I can confirm that this feature has not been included in the 5000 series. For the 5000, there are however some very nice EPG TAPs around which more than compensate for the omission.

I think that the 7700 series (HDPVR and HSCI) doesnt have Mediahighway EPG.
I have tested for Canalsat France, CD and Digital+, none is working on my 7710 HDPVR 23031 7.0.20 (it isnt possible to set the correct TP)
On my 6000PVR, I get it on CD and Digital+ but not for CSAT except few time using an special beta (the receiver start in infinite loop because no limite time)

I have just got my new 7710.
Using it with Nordic Canaldigital.
EPG only working for one or two programs.
Unacceptable.
Is it impossible to get Topfield themselves to give info on when this will or will not work in the future.

Impossible: IMHO Yes.

A lot of people did not get a satisfying or even any answer to questions about a lot of faults and missing features from Topfield during the last half year.

And even more people are still waiting for an improved firmware with less faults and more promoted features.
