Ein User scheint seinen Topf mit dem Aufheizen des Prozessors durch Heißluft repariert zu haben, sonst liest man nur von Austausch des Mainboards.
Auf Grund einer Anfrage eines finnischen Users, habe ich ein TAP erstellt, das eine Aufnahme kurz vor dem Start auf Tuner 2 legt. Bei den Tests hat es sich gezeigt, dass dies viel einfacher klingt, als es letztendlich war. Das TAP muss nämlich sicherstellen, dass der Tuner 1 nach dem Booten nicht zufälligerweise auf dem Aufnahmetransponder liegt, sonst findet die Aufnahme trotzdem dort statt. Zusätzlich versuchen auch andere TAPs (beispielsweise SmartEPG) ihren Willen durchzusetzen.
Hier liegt jedenfalls das TAP, welches in den AutoStart-Ordner gelegt werden muss. Standardmäßig beendet sich das TAP automatisch, wenn der Topf länger als 10 Minuten in Betrieb ist. Wer diesen Zeitraum ändern möchte, kann den Parameter T1OKMinutes in der /ProgramFiles/Settings/Tuner2Patch/Tuner2Patch.ini ändern.
Da es bisher zu wenig Informationen zu dem Problem gibt, kann ich weder eine Garantie geben, dass dieses TAP funktioniert, noch kann ich unendlich viel Support geben. Ich hoffe trotzdem, dass sich mittels T2Patch die eine oder andere Aufnahme retten lässt.
Was mit diesem TAP nicht klappt, ist das Verbiegen des EPG-Scans von SmartEPG, denn T2Patch sieht die zugehörigen P-Timer nicht.
2018-09-22: Update V0.2
Tuner2Patch enthält nun auch die Funktionalität von StartConfig. In der INI können somit der gewünschte Tuner, Kanal bzw. Lautstärke für den nächsten Start angegeben werden. Aus diesem Grund beendet sich T2P nach der Warm-Up-Zeit nicht mehr, sondern läuft im Hintergrund weiter. Bitte beachten, dass auch andere TAPs eine Startkonfiguration unterstützen (z.B. TMSDisplay).

It appears that some Toppies starts to show reception problems with tuner 1 while they are cold (within the first 5 to 10 minutes). As seen in several threads, it doesn’t seem to be limited to a specific tuner type as there are user reports from sat, cable and terrestrial tuner Toppies.
Because of that I’ve developed a little TAP that tries to force a recording to tuner 2. While it sounds easy, tests have shown that it isn’t because the TAP has to make sure that tuner 1 hasn't tuned to the same transponder on boot-up and TAPs like SmartEPG try to do their own thing.
Here’s the TAP which needs to be put into the AutoStart folder. It automatically stops itself 10 minutes after the Toppy has been booted. If someone would like to change the time frame, please change the parameter T1OKMinutes in /ProgramFiles/Settings/Tuner2Patch/Tuner2Patch.ini.
As little is known about the true nature of this problem, I can’t guarantee that Tuner2Patch will successfully work around the problem nor can I give an unlimited amount of support. But I hope that it might save some recordings.
What it cannot do is to fix SmartEPG’s morning scan because it can’t see P timer.
2018-09-22: Update V0.2
Tuner2Patch now includes the functionality of the StartConfig TAP. This means that you can set the tuner, channel, or volume for the next power-up. Because of that, T2P doesn’t stop after the warm-up period but will be running in the background. Please keep in mind that there are other TAPs that support a startup configuration (e.g. TMSDisplay).
