Hello twilight - the "hide osd on tv" function is the 3rd icon from the left. As for the left key, mmm I just tested using it on the EPG and it seemed ok. Could you please tell me where it is not working? Which remote did you select?

Are you using any other clients at the same time? Like the PC one? This is not supported by the TAP.

Also, "Failed to send bytes to client" messages will occur if the ipad/iphone goes into power save mode. This will be fixed in the next version. In the next version I notice when power save/wake happens and I disconnect/reconnect automatically.

Does this happen always? That is you can not get a connection, therefore the app doesn't work, or are you curious that this occurs? Is 10.0.1.8 an internal network address?

BY the way, this app also works on ipod touch if you want to use it there.

The log shows, that there is a connection and also the password is right, but in the app i always get displayed that i am disconnected. I tried to reinstall the app. I would like to try the tmsremote.exe for testing, but i dont have a winos. So, i dont know if the problem is in the app or the tap.

What version of iOS is on your phone? What type of iphone do you have? Do you have a password set or is it blank?

I changed the ini and use a psw. Tomorrow i will reinstal the tab with the original ini.

Spaß beiseite - wenn TMS_Remote auf dem CRP läuft (was Deiner Sig nach zutrifft), sollte es eigentlich gehen.

Ich habe die gleichen Einstellungen wie auf dem PC (wo TMS Remote funktioniert) also IP-Nr. (teste z.Zt. von zu Hause aus), Port Nr. und Kennwort. Allerdings geht gar nichts, es erscheint in der App auf iphone sofort die Meldung Server disconnected?

da scheinst du einen fehler beim passwort zu haben..

ich verwende das gleiche Passwort wie in der TMS Remote ini hinterlegt ist, bzw. welches ich auch in der PC Version verwende

es funktioniert definitiv und wenn nicht dann Ports ,IP und Passwort wirklich überprüfen und nicht glauben es wären die gleichen.
Ach ja, und nicht gleichzeitig TMSRemote am PC mit dem Topf am laufen haben, parallel Betrieb geht nicht.

nun, das passwort in der pc version siehst du schon mal nicht, deswegen mußt du via ftp am srp in der ini nachsehen.

Hallo miteinander,
habe gestern hier gefunden, daß TMSRemote nun auch auf dem iPhone (4 mit iOS5) möglich ist. Installation von Windowssoftware und TAP ohne Probleme. Setup am iPhone durchgeführt und sofort Verbindung und die Möglichkeit den Topf per iPhone zu bedienen.
Es funktioniert also definitiv. Unsere Tochter möchte uns schon seit längerer Zeit einen neuen Samsung TV schmackhaft machen wollen, dort geht die Bedienung mit SmartPhones wohl schon. Dank Forum und Topf hab ich nun sogar bessere Möglichkeiten und kann unseren alten Philips 37PFxxx noch 'ne Weile nutzen.
Um das TAP zu finanzieren (2,99EUR) werde ich beim nächsten Restaurantbesuch auf EIN Bier verzichten
