So let me know if this option is really required and I can gove feedback to tango.tango hat geschrieben: As for deleting folders with content... This used to be available, but then someone had an accident and deleted a folder including a lot of recording they still wanted. Folder deletion does NOT use the recycle bin, so they couldn't get these recordings back.
There was/is a config parameter (under Recycle Bin options) that you can choose whether not empty folders can be deleted.
Because of the above problem, I ended up changing this parameter to reset to "do not delete non-empty folders" every time TMSArchive list is opened. So, the only way to delete a non-empty folder is to:
1) open TMSA file list
2) go into the menu config option for recycle bin
3) change the parameter to allow deletion of non-empty folders
4) exit the menu and delete the folder before closing the file list
But if someone does this, they have to remember that no matter what settings they have any recordings (or recycled recordings) in that folder will be permanently deleted. It's a dangerous option.
I could look at changing this parameter to have a 3rd option that permanently allows deletion of non-empty folders. It is dangerous, but if that's what people want, I can look at it.
BTW, The safer way to delete a whole folder is:
1) open the folder
2) long press the multi-select key (red) to select all files
3) delete all selected files
4) if you use recycle bin, empty the recycle bin for this folder
5) delete the empty folder
@macfan, Ich kann Dich auch direkt in Verbindung mit tango bringen falls gewünscht.
