I did some investigation today and I hope that I found the problem.

Normally, when you press a remote control key, it generates a "press" event and a "release" event.

Because TMSArchive can use short-Info and long-Info for different purposes, it is waiting for a release event before deciding which action to perform.

Unfortunately, the TMSRemote module in WebControl appears to only generated "press" events and does not generate a "release" event for a short-key press.

This is jkIT's area of expertise and I have asked him to confirm my suspicions.

2. At that time I had 3 Timers. Today I have no timer, but the problem still exists.

3. I'm using Internet Explorer 11. I think that is the Problem. I tried WC on Firefox and Chrome, and all was well.

What can I do?

I just did some testing with IE11 and even though I could not recreate your exact symptoms, it gave me a lot of errors when trying to create and delete timers.

I tried adding my PVR to compatibility mode and that made it worse.

My best suggestion for now is to use another browser.

I also tried, to start WC with IE 11 in compatibility mode. WC freezes by "Initialisierung/tma.Settings".

The Internet Explorer is used very frequently. Would it therefore not good to find the error, even if you can resort to a different browser?

A radio recording will not be stopped. With none of the two buttons.
The time skips are working well.

Bei "aktuell" stimme ich voll zu.
"Keine Aufnahme" finde ich etwas unspezifisch. Ist keine Aufnahme vorhanden, oder wird gerade nichts aufgenommen?
Was hältst du von "keine laufende Aufnahme"?

passt dann auch gut zu "1 laufende Aufnahme"

I have just noticed that also with "remote control" radio recordings cannot be stopped.

I have just done some testing and I am able to stop radio recordings with both stop buttons on the Dashboard page.

Have you tried enabling logging and seeing if there is an error message when you try to stop a radio recording?

Do you have the problem with all radio recordings or just certain recordings? Have you every had a problem stopping a TV recording?

Also, which "remote control" method are you using? The old WebControl page or the newer integrated TMSRemote page?

I tested not with TMSRemoteControl, but I used the original Remote from Topfield. It maybe a problem of CRP2401.

In the log there is no error message.
It seems happen on all radio recordings.
TV Recordings are OK.

Hi,

I have a strange problem using WebControl: I can't control the CRP-2401 neither using the "Bedienung -> WebControl" nor using "Bedienung -> TMSRemote".
TMS-Remote itself is working, but I do not see any overlay, it seems like the commands from the remote control do not reach the Topf.
It is also working using the big PC (Windows 7, FireFox) but not using the laptop (Windows 8, Firefox).
Any ideas?

It seems to me that because it works OK with Win 7 & Firefox, but does not work with Win 8 & Firefox, there may be a browser issue.

Are you running the same version of FireFox or each computer?
Have you tried another browser on Win 8 as a test?

I tested on Win 8.1 with FF 33.1 and it worked OK.

With the TMSRemote module, use the gear icon to the right of the tab to check that you have selected the correct remote control codes. Also check your port number and password.

With the WebControl remote, clicking on the PVR screen area should refresh the image. If you use the real remote control and then click on the image, does it update?

OK, so I tested a little bit more:
- IE seems to work on Win8.1
- FF works if I use the keyboard buttons but it does not work pressing the buttons on the remote control

Have you checked the remote code and the remote layout settings on the TMSRemote config tab?

Are your 2 FF versions the same?

If you use WebControl-Config to change the logging level to "Basic", does your log file show "Sending API remote" entries when you use the WebControl module? (Remember to turn logging off again)

You could also try the following command to rest all of your settings to their default values: http://<PVR_IP>:8000/reset-modules.html

here are the answers for the questions:
- The RC-layout is the same in both cases and the code-table to use also, so there shoud be no difference
- Yes, the FF-versions are the same, in both cases the newest one (automatic updates are active)

I can do the test with active logging tonight or tomorrow and will get back here to describe if it helped.

Actually, there is no information about the commands included in the log-file when pressing a button on the remote control and nothing happens then.
When pressing e.g. the "i" button on my laptops keybord, everything works (but there is also no information in the log file).
The reset of the modules did not help, no change in behaviour.
Deactivating the firewall also did not work.

Logging will only show key codes when you use the WebControl module, not the TMSRemote module.

Also, the keyboard only works with the TMSRemote module, not in WebControl module.

When you are using the TMSRemote module and you press the keys on the physical remote control unit, do you see the screen change on the Laptop browser?

I am running out of ideas, I will have to ask jkIT for his opinion.

When pressing the keys on the original RC, the picture in WebControl changes. So it seems that the commands from the virtual RC do not reach the receiver. Here is the log file part I created. I pressed three buttons with my mouse:
