Your picture doesn't show a nullmodem-cable, look at reichelt.de and search for "AK143", that's
what you need together with the usb-rs232-adapter .

Today I bought a new nullmodem cable but I can´t connect yet. Hi, I have a USB-RS 232 adapter cable + Nullmodem cable together. When I connect the cable on my PC, is detected "Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port (COM 3)". Now I open TOPSET 2.0 and going to TOOLS/OPTIONS/CONNECTION and I put Use Serial /Connection COM PORT: COM 3

Now I'm going to FILE and <Read setting from receiver> and START, then...."Waiting for request. Please reboot the receiver." I reboot the receiver but nothing. After, I have used a desktop (I have connected a nullmodem cable sr232 from Topfield to desktop) but nothing,,,,always the same¡¡¡¡

¿Is there any solution?

You connected your Desktop directly withOUT the Usb-to-serial?

In that case I would assume you have to use 'COM1' in Topset

Are you sure, that it is a nullmodem cable, I don't think so.

A nullmodem cable has on both sides the same connector, as your gender changer.

You bought a normal seriell cable.

Please check the comport:
Go to Start, Settings, Control Panel. Choose system, click on hardware, device manager. Look for Ports and click on the + sign. You will see you serial-to-USB listed with the exact COM port number. That's the one you need to give in the settings of the Topfield program.

Attention: on my laptop this Com port number changes when I plug the usb end on the rear or on the side. In case of doubt, always check the COM port number.

At last I have connected Topset 2.0 with my Topfield. I was used the wrong cable. Now I put the new nullmodem cable and...All Perfect¡¡¡¡¡¡
