Verifying files & locked keys

Hey, hello...

Ich spreche Deutsch, aber es ist nicht gut so ich werde auf Englisch schreiben

So, we have the receiver TF 7750 HDPVR for one month and we found some little problems.. and I hope you could help me with them. It could be crazy, but I don't know how to solve it :D : i tried to find solutions on this forum and i searched the web of course, but I found nothing...

When watching recorded file or just watching some TV channel the keys on the remote control stop react and the only one which works is the turn OFF-ON button. You can´t increase volume or change the channel. The only way how to fix it is to turn the receiver off and after a while turn it on again. While turning on, on the TV appears a text box with: Verifying files and folders. It lasts for a while, I dunno, maybe 5 minutes. After than all is OK and you can use the remote control normally :D It did it for a couple of times and I don´t know about any "children lock" or sth like it on the controler.

And the question is-... Why it is so? When it happens 3-4 times per day it´s really annoying.. Please, don´t ask me to reclaim it because I ordered it from Germany via the Internet and I´m not from Germany.

Actually, when I turn it on normally (when there was not a problem with the non-reacting remote control) it doesn´t verify the files and folders.

Well, I hope you understood and my "important" infos were enough and you can help me with this...

Thanks a lot :)

Hi Stainka, willkommen.
Ich spreche auch nicht so gut Deutsch, so ich schreibe auch auf English weiter.

I had this problem on my TF7710 until the power supply unit completely crashed. I thought this shouldn't be a problem omn the 7750, especially not after one month. Another issue may be the hard drive. You may have got one with lots of errors. Quickest solution is to format it and see if the problem still occurs. Please not that you should place the device in location where heat can get out easily; this receiver may become extremely hot.

I would advise you to return the box to the dealer and request another one; you are still in guarantee period!
Entschuldigung wenn sie mich nicht verstehen.
If you really don't understand, please use another language.
