Viaccess Issues after firmware update from Aug. 27

Hi all there,
After the last update, I often have some descrambling problems, on Viaccess as I have SRG and BisTv, both in Viaccess, on Smit Secure Cam modules.
i.e. most part of the time, M6 HD (HotBird, 11681H, 8PSK, 27500 3/4) creates most part of the time some problems. If I have a timer recording on this channel and another one starts i.e. on SRG, then image on M6 diseappear and when trying to watch this record after, it freezes and impossible to watch from the point that the other record starts. I only may delete this record!
Sometimes too, all the channels are black only when watching...so, reboot and it works again, until next time.
Maybe is that because these new HD channels (not all) are in 8PSK?

And still descrambling problems on Viaccess, i.e. not descrambling always, freezes...

I'm afraid I don't have an answer but maybe it helps if I confirm that I have the same problems with SRG since the new release. At first it seemed to work fine but recently I notice the problems you mention, usually between SRG & Astra 2 channels: sometimes SRG is black ('no signal or scrambled') after I've watched Astra 2 for while, sometimes the other way round - Astra 2 channels black after SRG.

As you say, power off seems to resolve it, and I also found that if I go into the setup menu/LNB settings and change the tuner it works again (but not always). I used to have iTina EPG installed and that had an option to switch tuners but I recently changed to SmartPEG and that doesn't seem to support tuner switching. (Is there a function elsewhere to switch tuners?)

Pressing the yellow button while the SmartEPG infobox is visible, will switch to the other tuner.

Don't hold your breath....

I have had a couple of situations in the last few days that give me the impression that there is some form of tuner lockup or even loss of channel info.

In once case I switched from Hotbrid (SRG) to Astra28, which was blank. SmartEPG Info showed I was on Tuner 2 so I switched to 1 and I had a signal again. I then did a service copy 1->2 and both tuners were good.

Today I was on T1 on SRG and had no signal. I switched to T2, which worked, then back to T1 and that was then working too.

I'll experiment over the next few days and see if I can see a pattern

A new effect....
My topfield always starts on SF-1HD
Lat night I switched to the Astra28 channels BBC/ITV, and watched for half an hour or so
When I switched back to SF1-HD the picture froze after a few seconds, then displayed a black screen & 'no signal....'. Switching tuners didn't help, but non Hotbird was fine.

When I tried to look at the status of the card (Menu/Info/Common Interface/VIAsuisse) the box hung - I had to power off/on to get SF back again.

This hang when trying to check the card status has happened previoulsy, even with the original FW
