How can I search for a specific genre, e.g all upcoming films in the next days ?

Hi Ponty,
this is currently not implemented in the web app. But DMC said, the search service of WebControl has the capability. Perhaps I'll add that in future.

ich habe seit einiger Zeit noch das Problem das bei mit WebControl gesetzten
Timern irgendwer die Vor- und Nachlaufzeit zurücksetzt so das die Sendung
genau in der Länge aufgenommen wird wie der EPG es vorgibt, woran könnte das liegen?

Inerhalb ein WebControl "EPG-Event Info" fenster kan man die Vorlauf- und nachlauf-zeit einmalig einstellen!
Via "Settings" (zahnrad), rechts-oben im "epg-Event info" fenster. (Links daneben ein "Timer programieren" (roter punkt).
Möglicherweise stehen die auf 0 minuten?

Hallo zusammen,

nachdem ich mich nun auch mal mit dem tollen Tap beschäftigt haben, bleiben 2 Fragen:
1) Kann man mit dem Tap die Topf-Senderliste editieren, also Sender umsortieren, löschen, etc.? Ich meine so etwas gelesen zu haben. Wenn ja, wie?
2) Einige Logos werden nicht angezeigt. Wie bekomme ich die aktuellen? Ich meine etwas gelesen zu haben von einer "blauen" Taste, die zur Erneuerung der Logos gedrückt werden soll. Wo und wie?

1) There was a module written that interacts with the ChannelListSaver TAP that provides this functionality. I'm not sure if it was released for production, jkIT will have more details.

2) There are two methods to do this: a) From TMSCommander, find WebControl and press the 'Menu' button. You will see the blue button option there; b) Manually find and load the TAP WebControl-Config.

What kind of "support" are you looking for?

So sorry to forget to follow-up on this. I like all extensions if possible. Use the TF also as a NAS for downloaded TV-shows, to watch on AppleTV. I now use ftp to change the names of episodes. Extensions most used are: mkv and mp4.

Version 2.30 of the WebControl TAP has been released via TAP2Date. It contains a few bug fixes but is mostly aimed at improving support for jkIT's new WebControl Android App.

* Neu: SmartEPG Felder für Abruf und Setzen von Timern.
* Neu: Verarbeitung von HTTP 'OPTIONS' Anfragen.

* Fix: Correct server response when an MP3 file has no tags.
* Fix: Serving files from folders containing spaces.
* Update: Interpret HTTP header fields as case insensitive.

* Add: SmartEPG fields when getting and updating timers.
* Add: Respond to HTTP 'OPTIONS' request.

The version of the web client was changed to be in line with the TAP, but no functional changes were made.

While TAPtoDate ist updating the TAP, it will not be overwritten, so after the update the are two WebControl TAPs
in the Autostart folder, the old (and still running) version, and the new 2.30 one.

yes, other TAPs overwrite the existing "renamed" TAP version without adding the TAP with its original name again. As far as I know, also running TAPs are stopped before updating and are restarted once the update is completed.

Yes, it is, as Ricki already described.

All my TAPs on all Toppies were renamed, I guess it's the 1st time that I have seen this issue.
And there is no difference between updating 2.24 to 2.30 or 2.26 to 2.30.

After a restart both TAPs are running, but e.g. 2.24 is the TAP witch gets the connection to the App.

I tried to go back to 2.24 to test it again, but the uninstallation (complete) did not delete the TAP and the folder,
so I did it manually and installed 2.24.

After restart the Toppie, update to 2.30 and restart again, both versions are running:

2.24 was the active TAP for the browser (probably because of the starting order):

So I could stop 2.30 and still use the browser:

DMC told me, this is an option in the TTD package. It was disabled for any (meanwhile unknown) reason ;-)

After this procedure and the update to 2.30 the LiveServer plugin is missing under:
/ProgramFiles/Settings/WebControl/public_html/modules

So it is not visible in the browser-version, but it's visible and working in the Android-App.

I put a backup of the liveserver folder to /modules, now I can choose it in the browser again.

Same for the installation from the zip-file after deleting WC folder and TAPs.
BTW: After the installation there are two WebControl.tap on the Toppie, one under ProgramFiles
and one in the AutoStart folder.

The WebControl remote is also missing (remotes.css under /controlpage):

The remote comes back after switching to TMSRemote module and back to WC, but only for this session.

It looks like that a "naked installation" like above has some missing items, while an update works fine.

I have installed 2.30 several times and also back to 2.24, the missing remote comes with 2.30.

I thought it's a browser cache issue, but after installing 2.24 over 2.30 it's OK again, same to
the epgnow-view, with 2.30 epg data is missing, back to 2.24 it's OK
