Bei mir werden die Starteinstellungen nicht gespeichert. Nach dem Start lege ich "Bedienung" als Startseite fest (Startseite festsetzen - speichern) und entferne die Seite "Log" (speichern). Trotzdem startet WebControl das nächste Mal wieder mit den Standardeinstellungen und meine Einstellungen sind verschwunden. Im logfile, das ich anhänge, heißt es wiederholt "ERROR - INI file not found".

Die Web Anwendung versucht zu jedem Modul die gespeicherten Einstellungen zu laden. Da sie nicht weiß, ob überhaupt welche vorhanden sind, ist diese Meldung normal.

Die Einstellung "Startseite" wird lokal, d.h. im Browser gespeichert.
Versuche mal den "Modul Konfiguration zurücksetzen" Knopf.
Sollte es danach auch nicht gehen prüfe mal, ob er sich eine veränderte Schriftgröße oder auf der Seite Sender die eingestellte Programmliste merken kann.

Es könnte dann an den Einstellungen im Browser liegen. Z.B. im Firefox ist die Erlaubnis für diese lokale Speicherung mit den Cookies verknüpft.

@ jkIT: Der Browser behält nichts. Selbst der Hinweis auf die neuen Module kommt immer wieder. Im IE habe ich die Cookies auf die niedrigste Stufe eingestellt.

Schau mal bei den Optionen ->Erweitert->Sicherheit ob "DOM-Storage aktiviren" angeklickt ist.
Option 2: einen vernünftigen Browser verwenden

Unter dem "home" Knopf, hilft aber hier nichts, weil er ja nichts speichert.

Ich verwende auch den IE11 und bei mir funktioniert das Speichern ohne Probleme.
"DOM-Storage aktivieren" ist bei mir angeklickt.

Das ist es. Trotzdem wird es an den Einstellungen des IE liegen, weil ich das Problem nur auf dem Notebook habe. Zudem fällt mir auf, dass ich neuerdings auch die Benutzerdaten von Foren wie diesem bei jedem Start neu eingeben muss, was vorher nicht der Fall war. Es sind aber sowohl Cookies als auch Autovervollständigen aktiviert.

Kann es daran liegen, dass ich zur Zeit kein Java installiert habe? Im IE 11 hat sich zur Zeit Google als Startseite eingenistet. Zusammen mit einem Antimalware-Forum versuche ich, der Sache auf den Grund zu gehen, und in diesem Zusammenhang sollte ich Java komplett entfernen.

PS: Hab's gefunden. Haken unter "Internetoptionen/Allgemein" bei "Browserverlauf beim Beenden löschen" rausgenommen und gut ist's.

Java wird auf Webseiten nur nur bei Spezialanwendungen verwendet. Das kann man getrost weglassen.

Übrigens: Danke für eure Anregungen oben, ein paar sind schon umgesetzt.

Hallo jkIT,

ich habe heute im Radiomodus das RebuildNAVSetup gestartet und dabei wird das Menü nur am TV- aber nicht am PC-Schirm angezeigt. Ist mit FastSkipSetup oder Webcontrol-Config ebenso.

das was du da berichtest ist ein OSD bug der firmware der eventuell in einer aktuelleren version schon gefixt ist...falls deine werte die du hier angibst noch passen. (danke an den ghostwhisperer )

Danke für die rasche Antwort. Das Problem tritt aber am SRP auf und der sollte die letzte Firmware haben. Oder habe ich da irgendetwas verpasst?

ich weiß jetzt nicht ob dieser bug auch gefixt ist... das problem ist das die radio ebene über der tap ebene liegt.

Hi DeltaMikeCharlie & jkIT,

I've sometimes the problem, that Webcontrol kills my SRP.
Today at 16:26 the problem reoccured. I tried to select a TAP via menu/recordings/OK/next/next and now I'm in ProgramFiles with the TAP list and try to select a TAP via UP-key to start it. I'm probably doing the UP-key to fast and now the SRP crashes. Sometimes with a Check Disk, but today without it.

I tried to reproduce this on my PVR, but I could not. Does the same thing occur with no other TAPs running?

Have you tried: http://<PVR IP>:8000/tmsremote/index.html? Does it have the same problem?

I think I didn't have the problem with tmsremote/index.html

I'll look at the problem more carefully and see if it's reproducable.

During my testing following happened

1) I was able to reproduce the crash twice when all other TAPs were running
2) I was unable to reproduce the crash when WebControl was the only TAP
3) I started TMSArchive in addition to WebControl - no crash
4) I started Timerdiags in addition to TMSArchive - no crash
5) I started WebControl-Config and set logging to none
6) I stopped and restarted Webcontrol and continued with my tests
7) A hang of the SRP occured and it reacted to nothing than to power down
8) after power up a check disc occured and after this a check files & folders and an automatic reboot
9) now the system is running normally again
10) I stopped all TAPs beside Timerdiags and TMSArchive
11) many tests later a reboot occured

Thanks for doing that testing, unfortunately, there is no "smoking gun". Perhaps it's related to load, you have a lot of TAPs.

Out of interest, what browser platform were you testing with? PC browsers request the screen as a BMP and Mac browsers request a TIFF. Safari on a PC uses TIFF.

The "Control" tab was never really meant to be a full remote control solution, only a quick way to enter some commands. In the next version of WebControl, TMSRemote has been integrated into the main menu system and should be considered the primary remote control method.

TMSRemote is more efficient at processing screen refreshes and only sends the changed portions. The WebControl "Control" tab send the whole screen every time a key is pressed. This may be introducing too much load to your system.

I`m testing on a PC with Win7 Ultimate and IE 11.

I´m using the "Control" tab mainly for starting another TAP like TaptoDate. And while moving thru the TAP-list the problems occured.

These are really good news, that you've integrated TMSRemote into the main menu system. I've done many tests in the meantime also with http://<PVR IP>:8000/tmsremote/index.html and was unable to crash the system even with all TAPs started.

I'm eager to see the new version released.
